Directions from North, the West or London

• M4 Junction 13 - Junction of M4 and A34.
• South on A34, taking the Newbury by-pass.
• Look for Hampshire sign and take next exit marked Highclere & Wash Common onto A343 Turn back under the A34, through Highclere.
• Down a hill into Hurstbourne Tarrant pass the petrol station on the left and P.O. stores on the right.
• At the centre of the village turn right at sign for Ibthorpe.
• Go half a mile, then over a sharp humpback bridge, turn left 30 yards after the bridge and before speed derestriction signs.
• Go 150 yards up a single track road. Staggs Cottage is the second on the left with a lay-by for parking opposite.
