Directions from the Southampton area

• Take the M3 north, past the Winchester by-pass take A34 towards Newbury after the services take A303 west.
• Go over the junction with A34 and take A3093 marked Andover follow signs for A343 Newbury.
• Straight across at the first two roundabouts, right at third roundabout with the Tesco superstore on the right.
• Through the traffic lights, under rail viaduct, straight over another three roundabouts.
• Through Enham Alamein, on to Hurstbourne Tarrant.
• Down a steep hill into centre of the village - George & the Dragon on the right.
• In the centre, opposite the pub, turn left at sign for Ibthorpe.
• Go half a mile, then over a sharp humpback bridge, turn left 30 yards after the bridge and before speed derestriction signs.
• Go 150 yards up a single track road. Staggs Cottage is the second on the left with a lay-by for parking opposite.
