Wayfarers Walk

From Coombe Gibet through Walbury Camp and Pilot Hill, round Highclere Castle, over Watership Down to Kingsclere.

Leaving White Hill the path crosses the Portway and into North Oakly and then the village of Deane, before arriving at Dummer.

Out onto Becketts Down into the valley by Brown Candover the path then emerges onto Abbotstone Down. After Itchen Stoke Down you cross the Candover Stream and enter Alresford.

The path leaves Alresford, passes through Titchbourne and onto Cheriton, climbing the downs beyond the village, and then drops toward the Hinton Ampner House, onto Kilmeston, Presham and across Corhampton Down. It then descends close to the River Meon and into Droxford.

Heading out towards Soberton the path climbs to Litheys Hanger and overlooks Hambledon, thence via the Forest of Bere into Denmead.

Leaving Denmead the path climbs onto Portsdown Hill, and spectacular harbour and sea views, then joins the Solent Way past Hayling Island, coming to it's southern end at Emsworth Marina.
